Built-in conflict detection

The system automatically checks for time conflicts when a new booking is made. If someone tries to book a slot that overlaps with an existing confirmed appointment, the system blocks it.

This means you'll never accidentally have two dogs booked at the same time — something that's nearly impossible to manage with a paper diary.

How it works

Each service has a duration (e.g. 90 minutes for a Full Groom). When a booking is made, the system reserves that entire time block. Any new booking that overlaps with an existing one is rejected.

Manual bookings

If you add a booking manually through the dashboard, the same conflict check applies. You'll see a warning if the time slot clashes with something already booked.
