Importing clients from CSV

Import your existing clients
If you're switching from another system — or just have a spreadsheet of clients — you can bulk import them into Bookd.
Step 1: Go to Dashboard → Clients → Import.
Step 2: Upload a CSV file with your client data. The file should have columns for name, email, and phone number. Pet details can be added separately after import.
Step 3: Map your CSV columns to Bookd fields. We'll show you a preview before importing anything.
Step 4: Click Import and we'll create client profiles for everyone in your file.
What format does the CSV need?
At minimum, include these columns:
- Name (or First Name + Last Name)
- Email (optional but recommended)
- Phone (optional but recommended)
Extra columns like address, notes, or pet names will be ignored during import — you can add those manually afterwards.
Is there a limit?
No limit on the number of clients you can import. It's completely free on all plans.
